The Joint Session of the Parliament was called by President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday at 3 p.m. at Parliament House.
In accordance with his authority granted by Article 54, Clause 1 and Article 56, Clause 3 of the Constitution, the President called a meeting of the Joint Session.
At 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, President Asif Ali Zardari also called a meeting of the National Assembly.
