In a corruption case involving purported anomalies in construction projects, the Lahore Accountability Court has filed accusations against Pervez Elahi.
Elahi pleaded not guilty, denying the charges. For the upcoming hearing, witnesses have been called by the court to provide testimony.
Pervez Elahi’s attendance was completed by court employees in his car due to security concerns. Elahi acknowledged the charges formally by signing the charge sheet.
Hearing for the referral was held before Accountability Court Judge Zubair Shehzad Kiani.
