PCB authorities choose not to become alarmed by a string of losses.

Officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board have made the decision to not let ongoing losses deter them, pledging to keep giving new players chances despite pressure and criticism.

Board executives have decided to disregard the criticism and continue testing new talent in spite of the underwhelming performances of the youth.

Sources indicated that a meeting in Lahore reviewed the national team’s performance, where participants acknowledged Pakistan’s lag in modern cricket. They emphasised that T20 opportunities should be given to young players who excel in fielding and play fearlessly.

As a result of this strategy, fresh players were added to the fresh Zealand tour. The board feels they should be given regular opportunities even if they haven’t performed yet. It was noted that Saim Ayub proved his talent after multiple opportunities, and the same strategy should be applied to other young players.

Officials agreed that they would not revert to old policies due to recent losses. If this new policy continues, Pakistan could have a strong team by the 2026 T20 World Cup.
