PCB selects 29 players for the Kakul fitness camp.

According to the information provided, the Cricket Board (PCB) has declared that a group of 29 players will participate in a fitness camp in Kakul.

The camp, conducted in partnership with the Pakistan Army, is strategically tailored to train the players for the upcoming series and tournaments, which include the home T20I series against New Zealand, the away T20I series against Ireland and England, and the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

The camp is set to begin on March 26 and end on April 8. The players are expected to arrive at the camp later today.

PCB has formed a selection committee consisting of seven members, but it does not have a chairman.

The camp will prioritize team cohesion and strive to improve the players’ physical and emotional resilience, ensuring they are optimally prepared to overcome future obstacles.

Under the supervision of seasoned trainers and coaches, the players will engage in a thorough training program designed to enhance their physical fitness, agility, leadership skills, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field.

The following players are: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Haseebullah, Saud Shakeel, Usman Khan, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, Azam Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Irfan Khan Niazi, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Usama Mir, Mohammad Nawaz, Mehran Mumtaz, Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Ali, Zaman Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Aamir Jamal, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Amir.

It is important to note that one day after all-rounder Imad Wasim changed his mind about retiring from Twenty20 international (T20I) cricket, left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir also announced that he is reversing his retirement from international cricket and making himself available for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Sherani) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have agreed to proceed together.

Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, the leader of JUI (Sherani), met with Barrister Dr. Saif, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Advisor.

Maulana Sherani was invited to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Barrister Saif on behalf of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani emphasized the importance of reconciliation in guiding the nation away from conflict and proposed that Muhammad Ali Durrani be instrumental in promoting this process.
