PRBC Delegation Calls PM Shehbaz: PM Directs Committee Formation to Address Retailers’ Concerns

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the FBR to take urgent action to bring all of these retailers who do not pay taxes under the tax system.
Speaking to a delegation in Islamabad today headed by Ziyaad Bashir, the chairman of the Pakistan Retail Business Council, the prime minister declared that these shops who are already subject to taxes will not face any more burdens.
The Prime Minister also directs the establishment of a committee to address all of the shops’ concerns.
According to him, the government is moving quickly to include all of these retailers who do not pay taxes in the tax system.
Under the pretense of old products, he claimed, measures are being taken to stop smuggling. According to him, in order to compete in the global market, the local industry should embrace innovation and modern technology for the export of its goods.
Along with previous FBR changes, the Prime Minister stated that the government is working to make the economy cashless.
The delegation thanked the prime minister and his team for the stability of the national economy and the notable decline in interest rates and inflation, stating that this is boosting product consumption and, in turn, production, which is good.

Along with Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Jam Kamal Khan, Ahad Khan Cheema, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister of State Ali Pervaiz Malik, and other pertinent senior officials, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Pakistan Retail Business Council, Shahid Hussain, CEO of Service Sales Corporation, and Shehryar Bakhsh, CEO of Beach Tree.

Pakistan’s economy is heading in the right direction, according to Attaullah Tarar.
Additionally, he stated that Pakistan offers great prospects for foreign investors to make investments.
According to Bahrain’s Information Minister, the country cherishes its relationship with Pakistan.
He reaffirmed Bahrain’s determination to further strengthen media cooperation.

During his visit to District Jail Mandi Bahauddin, Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal officially opened a number of development projects, including the recently built jail building.
Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal mna was welcomed at the District Jail by Superintendent Jail Haq Nawaz, Deputy Superintendent Sheikh Arif Nisar, Shahzad Aslam Jaja, and other jail staff. The Jail’s cadre saluted and presented a guard of honor.
He treated sick inmates admitted to the hospital, established other development projects, including the recently built jail facility, and toured several barracks, mills, anchorage, juvenile ward, and jail hospital.

The ombudsman Punjab Nankana Sahib Region held an awareness seminar at Government Captain Hassan Nawaz Shaheed MC High School.
The CEO of the District Education Authority, Shazia Bano, chaired the seminar. Advisor Malik Muhammad Aslam and District Education Officer Secondary Dr. Saima Zafar were among the educators, students, and education officers that attended the session.
In his speech to the seminar, Malik Muhammad Aslam stated that people are aware of their rights and that our goal is to eradicate institutional corruption and poor management.Everyone must do their share to improve institutions.
