Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the FBR to take urgent action to bring all of these retailers who do not pay taxes under the tax system.

The Prime Minister also directs the establishment of a committee to address all of the shops’ concerns.
According to him, the government is moving quickly to include all of these retailers who do not pay taxes in the tax system.
Under the pretense of old products, he claimed, measures are being taken to stop smuggling. According to him, in order to compete in the global market, the local industry should embrace innovation and modern technology for the export of its goods.
Along with previous FBR changes, the Prime Minister stated that the government is working to make the economy cashless.
The delegation thanked the prime minister and his team for the stability of the national economy and the notable decline in interest rates and inflation, stating that this is boosting product consumption and, in turn, production, which is good.

Along with Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Jam Kamal Khan, Ahad Khan Cheema, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister of State Ali Pervaiz Malik, and other pertinent senior officials, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Pakistan Retail Business Council, Shahid Hussain, CEO of Service Sales Corporation, and Shehryar Bakhsh, CEO of Beach Tree.
