During their Joint Press Conference, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan expressed their dedication to enhancing trade and cooperation across all industries.

The Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, expressed his delight at his coming to Pakistan, stating that the people of Pakistan are quite excited about it.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan and Azerbaijan have a robust connection, with both countries having aligned perspectives on various regional and global matters.

The Prime Minister also discussed a substantial bilateral investment plan worth two billion dollars and acknowledged Azerbaijan’s hosting of cop-29, highlighting its advantages for poor nations.

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan reaffirmed Pakistan’s endorsement of Azerbaijan’s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute and expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s backing of Pakistan’s stance on Jammu and Kashmir.

He declared that a group of experts will be sent to Pakistan to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Islamabad, taking inspiration from the city of Baku.
