The Punjab Apex Committee was pleased with the state of law and order in the province as a whole on Tuesday.

The chief minister presided over the committee meeting, which was attended by high-ranking military and civil personnel. Among the many agenda items it examined were security and public safety initiatives.

All players will have VVIP-level protection thanks to the committee’s approval of a thorough security plan for the forthcoming Champions Trophy.

A security protocol implementation report for Chinese nationals living in Punjab was also given. To increase their safety, the CM ordered the authorities to implement strict precautions.

The conference also included an evaluation of the District Coordination Committees’ performance and the assignment of new tasks to increase their efficacy.

During a briefing, authorities emphasized the growing difficulties brought on by frequent infractions of traffic laws in the province, notably Lahore. The committee suggested that the problem be addressed right away.
