For the mutual benefit of both nations, Pakistan and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their bilateral connections in the fields of trade, commerce, investment, agriculture, and energy.

At the Presidency, President Asif Ali Zardari met with the visiting parliamentary delegation, which was led by Ms. Valentina Matvienko, the Speaker of the Russian Federation Council, to discuss this.

The President emphasized the longstanding connection between Russia and Pakistan, which has been characterized by respect for one another and a shared determination to increase bilateral cooperation across a range of domains.

He emphasized how important it is to strengthen cultural ties through interpersonal interactions and scholarship initiatives.

Additionally, he advocated for Russian investment in Pakistan and noted the great potential for both nations to increase economic relations.

Russia prioritizes its connection with Pakistan, the Russian speaker said, adding that she is confident her visit would strengthen bilateral collaboration.
