Fake information is the biggest problem of our day, according to Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and a comprehensive global action plan is required to address it.
In his speech to the Saudi Media Forum 2025, the Minister urged social media platforms to be more transparent, particularly when it comes to problems like Palestine and Gaza.
He continued by saying that their work will advance media transparency.
Eighty million people in Pakistan use the internet, according to the minister.
Pakistan is seeking future collaborations in the media sector, he added.
According to Atta Tarar, Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage ought to be celebrated.
He further said that the Government wanted to promote Talented People in Pakistan, including Award-Winning Women, with media’s support.
“It has been amazing to see the historical transformation occurring in Saudi Arabia,” the Minister said, congratulating the Saudi leadership and people on Vision 2030.
The development under Vision 2030 is praiseworthy, he added, under the leadership of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
