According to Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, talks for starting a political party are now taking place with like-minded individuals.

He continued, “We are also consulting on the party’s ideology and hopefully it will be formed within two months.” According to the former prime minister, the problems facing the public cannot be solved by the three main political parties that currently hold power.

According to Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the current political climate allows for both the emergence of a new political party and a “new way of thinking.”

He stated that political stability in Pakistan is a prerequisite for resolving the nation’s economic problems. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi continued, “The government and the opposition should get together and work toward constitutional amendments.”

According to the former prime minister, the administration appears to be “scared and unhappy” with its mandate. “The government has a component of humiliation as well. It is believed that national issues and politics will be on opposing sides,” he continued.

The former prime minister made a hint earlier on March 19 that a new political party would soon be formed.

Speaking to media reporters outside the Accountability Court, he declared, “We are holding consultations and groundwork is in progress for a new political party.” He declared, “A new political party was needed in the nation.”

In response to a query, the disgraced PML-N leader stated, “I am ready to meet him, when he will summon,” despite not having spoken with Nawaz Sharif.

However, the Jinnah Supermarket Traders Union has petitioned the Islamabad High Court to halt the PTI demonstration in the capital and deem it unlawful.

In the petition, the head of the Traders Union has asked the court to rule that the PTI protest violates fundamental human rights by preventing companies from operating and removing the public’s ability to visit stores for necessities.
