In order to support Pakistan’s agricultural sector, Belarus has given the country heavy-duty tractors through the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s Green Pakistan Initiative.
An agreement for investment in Pakistan was signed by Belarusian Company MTW and GCI during a ceremony pertaining to the handover of Belarusian tractors.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Shahid Nazir (Retd) of the Dg Green Corporate Initiative and Belarusian Ambassador Andrey Mitelissa.
The establishment of a joint assembly plant and the introduction of new technology in Pakistan are anticipated to boost agricultural output.
The viability of Belarusian heavy-duty tractors will be tested on various terrains.
