The head of the army promises farmers in Balochistan various agricultural amenities.

General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), made a noteworthy trip to the Awaran district in Balochistan. While there, he was briefed in detail about the security situation at the time and the Pakistan Army’s efforts to promote socioeconomic development and agricultural advancement in the area.

General Munir spoke with farmers, local elders, and martyrs’ families while he was there, assuring them of the army’s unwavering commitment to their safety and well-being. In addition, he honored the martyrs’ sacrifices and acknowledged their priceless contributions.

During his talks with the Awaran community leaders and farmers, Gen. Munir reaffirmed the army’s commitment to the Green Pakistan Initiative and stressed the importance of agriculture. He promised to help farmers in any way possible, including providing them with solar tube wells, seeds, fertilizer, simple financing, and professional advice. The purpose of this assistance is to enable regional farmers to work their land and actively participate as participants in Pakistan’s growth and development.

Later, the army commander engaged with academics and students while inaugurating Cadet College Awaran, demonstrating the army’s dedication to skill development and education in Balochistan. He praised the province’s decision to open a second cadet academy for the local population and reaffirmed Pakistan Army’s ongoing cooperation withthe civil departments concerned to facilitate development and relief efforts in Balochistan.

“The success of Balochistan is the success of Pakistan,” the COAS said, reflecting on the significance of the region’s development for the country. Pakistanis are proud of the courageous Balochians who have persevered in the face of overwhelming adversity. The people of Balochistan will continue to receive assistance from Pakistan’s military forces and law enforcement authorities in their quest for peace and development.

The announcement of a significant decrease in petroleum prices by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is expected to alleviate the financial strain on customers.

The cost of a litre of gasoline will drop by ten rupees.

Prices for diesel and kerosene oil are expected to decrease by 13.6 and 11 rupees per litre, respectively.

In addition, the cost of a gallon of light diesel will decrease by 13 rupees.

This move is a component of the government’s continuous initiatives to lower living expenses and assist households all throughout the nation.
