A press statement stated that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had announced an expansion in the Honhaar Scholarship Program to Rs100 billion.

Speaking at the Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan during the Honhaar Scholarship Program ceremony, Chief Minister Maryam declared that an additional 20,000 Honhaar Scholarships would be awarded starting the following year, in addition to interest-free loans of up to Rs3 crore for young people starting new organizations.

She also said that one lakh e-bikes would be made available to students starting the following year and that e-bike charging stations would be installed at Punjab’s colleges and institutions.

“The fact that young children in China are learning artificial intelligence surprised me,” remarked Chief Minister Punjab. Our kids will learn robotics, artificial intelligence, and other cutting-edge IT disciplines.

The Punjab government would provide loans to the children so they can further their education and start their own businesses without being a financial burden on their parents, she stated. We are changing the transportation culture to e-vehicles in order to provide clean air for Punjab’s citizens. If any child is still not receiving an education, I shall consider myself to have failed. Students, particularly female students, are transported by busses.

The Punjab government will shortly launch a laptop program for kids, CM Maryam continued. The initial delivery of computers has been made. In accordance with their desires, we will also award the young people international scholarships.

“In the past, funds were available, but why weren’t they used for education?” asked the Chief Minister of Punjab. Young people should swear not to fight against their nation; they cannot be state allies if they burn down public buildings, shoot people, or torture cops.

CM Maryam warned, “No one should deceive or take advantage of the youth.” The children who committed vandalism were released from prison after expressing regret, which is quite unfortunate. It is acceptable to hold opposing views in a democracy, but one should not stray from morals.

It is unacceptable for anyone to treat mothers, sisters, and daughters disrespectfully. Moral principles and behavior are indicators of a society, she continued.
