A carriage of the Jaffar Express derailed on Tuesday at Naseerabad, a city in Balochistan province, when the train was en route from Lahore to Quetta.
The event occurred at Notal railway station near Naseerabad, where a train bogie derailed. However, no casualties were reported.
Traffic on that section was halted owing to the event.
A few days ago, three bogies of Shalimar Express, a train bound for Karachi, derailed near the Shahdara railway station on the outskirts of Lahore.
