The Meteorological Department has forecasted light rain in Karachi starting on June 15.

Today, Karachi residents are preparing for scorching and arid weather conditions, as the Meteorological Department predicts a high temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.

In addition to the blistering heat, the city is currently having partially cloudy sky, which offer some respite from the harsh sunlight.

The Meteorological Department reports that the humidity ratio in Karachi is at 65%. The agency has forecasted that these sweltering and muggy circumstances will continue for the next 24 hours, suggesting that there will be no immediate respite from the suffocating weather.

The Met Department has given a forecast for drizzle commencing on June 15, which comes as a somewhat unexpected development. This forecast has generated optimism among the residents of Karachi for a brief relief from the scorching temperatures, however it will be accompanied by high humidity.

According to the Met Office, the weather in the central and southern regions of the country is expected to be extremely hot today. However, in the evening, there may be thunderstorms and light rain in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The department has forecasted that the weather in Islamabad and nearby areas will continue to be hot and dry. However, there is a possibility of rain in certain locations like as Chitral, Kohistan, and Battagram. The weather in southern districts, such as Multan and Rahim Yar Khan, will continue to be scorching hot.

Strong winds may occur in the southern parts of Balochistan. According to the weather office, the upper districts of Sindh will have intense heat while the coastal portions will have high humidity.

During his visit to District Jail Mandi Bahauddin, Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal officially opened a number of development projects, including the recently built jail building.
Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal mna was welcomed at the District Jail by Superintendent Jail Haq Nawaz, Deputy Superintendent Sheikh Arif Nisar, Shahzad Aslam Jaja, and other jail staff. The Jail’s cadre saluted and presented a guard of honor.
He treated sick inmates admitted to the hospital, established other development projects, including the recently built jail facility, and toured several barracks, mills, anchorage, juvenile ward, and jail hospital.

The ombudsman Punjab Nankana Sahib Region held an awareness seminar at Government Captain Hassan Nawaz Shaheed MC High School.
