The President Expresses Gratitude to His Chinese Counterpart for Strengthening Ties in the Iron Friendship

The president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, has thanked the president of China, Xi Jinping, for sending a message of goodwill and hopes for a speedy recovery after President Zardari’s recent injury.

In a letter, President Xi expressed his deep sorrow for Zardari’s injury and offered his sincere wishes for a quick recovery. In addition, President Xi used the occasion to extend an invitation to Zardari to visit China at a time that would be convenient for both of them.

In his address, President Xi reaffirmed China and Pakistan’s longstanding friendship and emphasized their renewed resolve to work together to build a stronger China-Pakistan community and a brighter future for both countries.

As a result, President Zardari voiced his desire to visit China soon, emphasizing that this would be a great opportunity to further cement the strong and long-standing relationship between Russia and China. And he acknowledged the tremendous support from the Chinese leadership and people, and he conveyed his profound gratitude for President Xi’s thoughtful and compassionate statement.

Emphasizing the significance of their “all-weather” strategic cooperative partnership, the two leaders reaffirmed their shared resolve to improve bilateral relations.
