On Wednesday, Lt. Gen. (retd) Abdul Aziz, the chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), visited Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at his residence and gave him the annual report for 2024.
Afzaal Chaudhry, the secretary of the PPSC, attended the conference as well.
Speaking at the event, Governor Khan stated that openness and the importance of merit in institutions are critical to the nation’s excellent administration. He praised the Punjab Public Service Commission’s efforts to hire qualified applicants for a range of positions.
According to him, the PPSC is a respectable organisation. He emphasised the need for additional development, especially the use of information technology to boost productivity.
The governor was informed of the reforms implemented to improve the institution by the chairman of the PPSC. He claimed that in order to increase the commission’s efficiency, they are pushing for digitisation.
