At a distinguished ceremony in the UK Parliament’s Jubilee Room, Pakistani actress and social media star Hania Aamir received the Star of Pakistan award.

Members of the British-Pakistani community, dignitaries, and members of the media attended the event, which was hosted by Samara Events UK. Along with Maria Saroya, CEO of Samara Events UK, and Dr. Sarah Naseem, wife of Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Labour MP Afzal Khan presented the prize.

The purpose of the event was to honor Hania Aamir’s global achievements as a cultural ambassador, influencer, and actress. Aamir has become quite well-known over the years, not only in Pakistan but also throughout South Asia, especially in India, where she has a sizable fan base.

Afzal Khan MP, who spoke at the ceremony, commended Aamir’s services to the entertainment and arts sector. “Hania Aamir has emerged as a formidable force in the arts and culture,” he said. She is a genuine star because of her skill, modesty, and audience-connecting abilities. She continues to motivate budding artists and has represented Pakistan on a global platform with success.

Hania Aamir thanked everyone for the award, saying, “It’s an absolute honor to be here.” We must keep showcasing Pakistan’s rich culture and talent and making it proud. We should encourage one another and provide optimism wherever we go as a community.

Hania Aamir also emphasized the power of art to heal divisions between India and Pakistan, citing the widely shared incident from last year when Punjabi musician Diljit Dosanjh asked her to join him on stage at his London show. “That moment created a lot of positivity,” she remarked. Politics should not take precedence over art, and we must prioritize creativity and humanity.

Rumessah Maria, a key organizer of the event, introduced Hania Aamir as an artist who has broken international boundaries and redefined the entertainment industry. She remarked, “Hania is not just an actress; she is a cultural ambassador and a youth icon. She has brought a fresh approach to acting and fashion and continues to inspire young people.”

Business leaders and community representatives also praised Hania Aamir’s contributions. Atta Haq, Chairman of Labour Asians Society, along with British business tycoon Mansoor Shafique, Professor Dr. Shahzad Qureshi, and Vice President of Labour Asians Society Hanif Khan, spoke about Hania’s influence on youth empowerment. They commended her for spreading positivity, confidence, and motivation among young people, especially women.

Beyond acting, Hania Aamir has emerged as a fashion icon and a major force in brand collaborations. She is currently the most-followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram, reflecting her immense popularity and influence.

At the event, Hania Aamir playfully remarked about her frequent visits to the UK, joking, “I have been spending so much time in London that I might as well move here! But first, I’m heading back to Pakistan to celebrate Eid with my family and friends.”

Hania Aamir’s recognition at the UK Parliament’s Jubilee Room marks yet another milestone in her flourishing career. As she continues to captivate audiences worldwide, her contributions to arts, culture, and youth empowerment serve as an inspiration for aspiring artists and fans alike.
