The nation will see intense monsoon rains, interspersed with periods of clear weather, from August 1st to August 6th, according to a weather alert released by the Meteorological Office.

The top regions of Pakistan are predicted to be affected by strong monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal starting tonight, while the central and southern regions will be affected starting on August 2.

Forecasts indicate that from July 31 to August 6, thunderstorms and heavy rain are likely in several districts of Kashmir. From August 1 to August 6, it is predicted that there will be significant rains in Punjab and Islamabad, affecting several areas such as Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Faisalabad. Extensive rainfall is expected in Southern Punjab between August 2 and August 6.

Heavy rain is expected to fall in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from the evening of August 1st to August 6th in areas like Peshawar, Swat, and Mansehra.

From August 2 to August 6, there will be significant rains in parts of Balochistan, including Quetta and Zhob.

From the evening of August 2 to August 6, large amounts of rain are predicted in Sindh for Karachi, Hyderabad, and surrounding regions.

August 3rd to August 6th is when rainfall is forecast in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Flash flooding in nearby streams and nullahs is possible from August 2 to August 5 due to heavy monsoon rains. Cities with low-lying areas may experience urban flooding between August 2 and August 5. Road closures in hilly regions may result from landslides.

During his visit to District Jail Mandi Bahauddin, Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal officially opened a number of development projects, including the recently built jail building.
Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal mna was welcomed at the District Jail by Superintendent Jail Haq Nawaz, Deputy Superintendent Sheikh Arif Nisar, Shahzad Aslam Jaja, and other jail staff. The Jail’s cadre saluted and presented a guard of honor.
He treated sick inmates admitted to the hospital, established other development projects, including the recently built jail facility, and toured several barracks, mills, anchorage, juvenile ward, and jail hospital.

The ombudsman Punjab Nankana Sahib Region held an awareness seminar at Government Captain Hassan Nawaz Shaheed MC High School.
The CEO of the District Education Authority, Shazia Bano, chaired the seminar. Advisor Malik Muhammad Aslam and District Education Officer Secondary Dr. Saima Zafar were among the educators, students, and education officers that attended the session.
