The entry of a weather system was predicted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department for eastern Sindh yesterday.

According to the Met Office, thunderstorms and rain are probably in store for the city’s periphery.

The air’s humidity ratio was 81 percent, and winds from the west were flowing toward the city at a pace of 10 km/h.

It was earlier predicted by Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz that the province would see significant rains during the forthcoming monsoon term. However, he noted, there is little chance of heavy rain in Karachi.
