Pakistan has been combating terrorism for the past 20 years, and the government is dedicated to eradicating the threat from the nation, according to Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.

“The military leadership briefed the parliamentarians on how to deal with the challenges facing the country,” the federal minister said during a press conference in Islamabad.

He claimed that although the PML-N had eradicated terrorism entirely, it had returned because of the PTI government’s faulty policies.

He called it “regrettable” that the opposition party did not attend the national security committee meeting.

He went on to say that politics of sedition and rioting are intolerable and that assaulting the state for political reasons is bad for the nation.

The goals of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s trip to Saudi Arabia are to boost economic cooperation, encourage investment, and fortify bilateral ties.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated in a weekly briefing that the visit highlighted the long-standing historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and will open the door to greater diplomatic coordination on bilateral, regional, and international issues as well as improved trade and investment cooperation.

The Prime Minister met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman during the tour, and the two leaders had fruitful discussions about how to improve relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

According to the FO spokesperson, the number of unfounded claims made by Indian leadership about Jammu and Kashmir has increased.

The spokesperson responded to the Indian External Affairs Minister’s comments at the Raisina debate in New Delhi by stating that India was the one that brought the Jammu and Kashmir issue before the UN in 1948.

According to him, India has no right to hold the Security Council and its former members accountable for the resolutions that were later passed today.

He asserted that a sustainable peace in South Asia depends on a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict that complies with pertinent UN Security Council decisions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Regarding Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, Shafqat Ali Khan stated that Pakistan calls for an immediate end to hostilities and categorically denounces Israel’s savage attacks against the West Bank and Gaza population, the flagrant breach of the ceasefire agreement, and the deaths of innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.
