In the Malikhel area of Bannu, security forces successfully repelled a terrorist onslaught on a security checkpost, killing six Khawarij militants and martyring 12 army personnel, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

An automobile carrying munitions was rammed against the security wall by the militants in an attempt to breach the checkpoint.

Even though the protection wall partially collapsed due to the suicide blast, the security officers acted quickly to stop the terrorists’ attempt to enter the post. In the blast, twelve army jawans unfortunately died.
