Two terrorists are detained by CTD in Okara IBO.

SAHIWAL: According to ARY News, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) detained two terrorists on Thursday during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Okara.

Two terrorists were apprehended during an intelligence-based operation on Benazir Road in Okara, according to the facts.

Weapons, explosives, detonators, and batteries from the custody of terrorists who had been apprehended, according to CTD authorities.

Abdurrehman from Taxila and Talha from Faisalabad were identified as the terrorists connected to a prohibited group.

Authorities from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) detained a man from Hub River Road who was reportedly involved in arming and amassing people in Karachi.

According to a statement from the CTD spokesman, Zahid, the accused, carried a significant quantity of guns to Karachi.

Eight 9mm handguns, four 30 bore pistols, and hundreds of rounds were allegedly found in the arrested person’s possession, according to CTD officials.

During the interrogation, the detained person said that Zahid received weapons from the two accused, Waqar and Shahrukh, both of Mansehra.

Terrorists from a banned organisation were apprehended by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Hyderabad in a separate operation. They were from Jamshoro.

Details indicate that CTD stopped a terrorist assault in Jamshoro prior to the 2024 general election.

The CTD Hyderabad carried out the operation, apprehending the terrorist and taking from his hands 600 kg of explosives, a detonator, anti-state leaflets, and banners.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Sherani) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have agreed to proceed together.

Barrister Saif recognized Maulana Sherani as a respected religious and political person, a senior member of parliament, and an expert in constitutional law during the meeting. He said that Maulana Sherani’s services are greatly valued by PTI founder Imran Khan and the party, and they hope he will play an active role in promoting trust, cooperation, and national reconciliation.

Maulana Sherani was invited to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Barrister Saif on behalf of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani emphasized the importance of reconciliation in guiding the nation away from conflict and proposed that Muhammad Ali Durrani be instrumental in promoting this process.
