The air quality in Islamabad remains at or near hazardous levels, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 258.

This reading is 36.6% higher than the World Health Organization’s recommended guideline, as reported by the Met Department. The air quality in Islamabad and the adjacent areas may be enhanced by the weather forecast, which predicts cloudy conditions with a potential for rain.

Concurrently, smog and fog are anticipated in numerous cities in Punjab, such as Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Khanewal, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and DG Khan.

It is probable that this weather pattern will increase health hazards and disrupt visibility in the affected regions. Nevertheless, there is a possibility of rain in a few locations in Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, and DG Khan during the evening and night. Cities such as Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Jhelum, Gujrat, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala may also experience rainfall.

In the mountains of northern Pakistan, rain and snow are likely to be encountered in regions such as Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Mansehra, Haripur, and Abbottabad. The weather pattern may be comparable in Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Mohmand, Charsadda, Swabi, Nowshera, Peshawar, Khyber, Kohat, and Kurram.

Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, and the adjacent districts of northern Balochistan will experience cloudy skies with a potential for rain, while the majority of Sindh is expected to remain dry.
