The Anti-Pakistan narrative originating from India has poisoned the bilateral atmosphere and obstructed the potential for peace and collaboration, which must cease.

In response to the comments made by the Indian Prime Minister during a podcast with Lex Fridman, Foreign Office Spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan stated that the remarks are deceptive and unilateral.

He stated that they casually disregard the Jammu and Kashmir problem, which has remained unsolved for the past seven decades despite India’s serious commitments to the United Nations, Pakistan, and the Kashmiri populace.

He asserted that India’s fabricated narrative of victimhood cannot obscure its role in instigating terrorism within Pakistan and the state-sanctioned repression in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

The spokesperson asserted that India need to contemplate its own history of executing targeted assassinations, subversion, and terrorism abroad, rather than attributing blame to others.

He stated that Pakistan has consistently promoted constructive engagement and results-driven discussion to address all unresolved issues, including the principal dispute of Jammu and Kashmir.

The spokesperson stated that peace and stability in South Asia have been constrained by India’s inflexible stance and hegemonic aspirations.
