Educational institutions resumed operations following the winter vacation.

Following the winter holidays, educational activity recommenced on Monday in both government and private schools around Lahore and Punjab.

Due to the current cold wave, the Education Department has revised school timings post-holidays, issuing new schedules for both private and government schools throughout Punjab.

The Education Department has stated that school hours will be from 9 AM to 2 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 12 PM on Fridays.

In response to the cold wave, special education institutions are authorized to loosen uniform regulations from January 13 to February 15.

The Punjab government has amended the winter holiday schedule for educational institutions.

On December 18, 2024, the Punjab School Education Department updated the winter holiday timetable.

Subsequent to the notification, winter recess commenced on December 23 and educational institutions resumed on January 13, 2025.
