Rashid Mahmood Langrial, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, was appointed as Additional Secretary of the Industries and Production Division.
The Establishment Division has issued a notification naming Rashid Mahmood Langrial as the Secretary of the Power Division.
Rashid Mahmood Langrial had held the same position but was later reassigned and appointed as the Additional Secretary (Incharge) of the Industries and Production Division in December 2023 by the caretaker administration at the time.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reassigned the portfolio of railways to Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, replacing the previous portfolio of power.
As per a statement from the Cabinet Division released today, Petroleum Minister Musadik Masood Malik has been removed from his additional responsibility for the Power portfolio.
