Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, the Prime Minister’s Health Coordinator, has ordered a special meeting to be conducted today at the National Command and Operation Center (N.I.h.) to discuss preventive measures against monkeypox.
According to a Ministry of Health spokesman, Dr. Mukhtar, the PM’s Coordinator, has ordered all airports nationwide to remain vigilant in the fight against M. Pox.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health claims that there haven’t been any cases of this novel strain of m-pox documented in Pakistan as of yet.
According to Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath, the Ministry of Health is always keeping an eye on the situation and the government is making sure that all required precautions are taken to keep people safe from epidemics.
