A seismic event with a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale occurred in multiple cities in Balochistan on Tuesday night.
This earthquake in Balochistan was the second occurrence within a 24-hour period.
The earthquakes were experienced in multiple regions of the province, including Noshki, Chagai, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Mastung, Dalbadin, and various other localities.
Individuals emerged from their residences in a state of extreme fear and began chanting passages from the Holy Quran. There were no reports of casualties or damage to property from any area in Balochistan.
As reported by the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad, the earthquake’s epicentre was situated 166 kilometres southwest of Quetta, at a depth of 30 km.
Prior to this, seismic activity was detected in Quetta and various other regions of Balochistan. Individuals emerged from their residences while reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
An earthquake occurred in many regions of Balochistan during the early hours of the morning. The earthquake’s magnitude was measured at 5.4 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 35 kilometres below the surface, with its epicentre located 150 miles southwest of Quetta.
