AFPPD And SIFC Unveil Declaration: Japan Provides Funds For Pakistani Climate Projects

Following its most recent meeting in Islamabad, with backing from the Special Investment Facilitation Council, the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development released the Islamabad Declaration.

China, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, and numerous Central Asian nations are among the 20 members of the Forum, which seeks to promote population welfare and development in the area.

Pakistan’s essential contribution to this endeavour is highlighted by naming the proclamation after Islamabad.

A pledge to support three climate change initiatives in Pakistan, maybe with an emphasis on agriculture and education, is made by the State Minister of Japan.

Further, Japan has promised to help Pakistan obtain funds from the World Bank to address climate-related issues.

Reiterating its intention to offer Pakistan a place on its Executive Council, the AFPPD demonstrated the SIFC’s efforts to improve Pakistan’s standing internationally.
