Following the conclusion of the two-month summer break, government and private schools and colleges in Sindh reopened on Friday, with regular academic activity resuming throughout the province.

All educational institutions will now function six days a week as a result of the Sindh Education Department’s decision to eliminate the weekly Saturday holiday from August 1. On the first day of the new academic timetable, the updated school hours also took effect.

Both government and private schools saw lower-than-normal student attendance on the first day of courses, however several private institutions chose to start regular classes on August 3.

As pupils arrived at school on school vans or with their parents, educational institutions came back to life.

‘s educational institutions will have summer holidays from June 1 to July 31, according to the Sindh Education Department.
