Economic progress and peace are linked, according to Federal Minister of Planning and progress Ahsan Iqbal.
Ahsan Iqbal, addressing the International Conference on Counter-Terrorism, asserted that there is a connection between national instability and terrorism. Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister of Planning, opened the conference as the Chief Guest.
The Bahria University Pakistan Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies was in charge of organising the conference.
The meeting focused on operations that were successful, such as Zarb-e-Azab. This time around, foreign experts applauded Pakistan’s counterterrorism achievements. The necessity of an all-encompassing plan to eradicate terrorism at its source was underlined by the attendees.
