An emergency landing was necessary at Karachi airport for an international flight that was headed from Muscat to India due to a passenger’s declining health.

At the time, the foreign airline’s jet was headed to the Calicut International Airport in Kerala state’s Kozhikode city when the incident happened.

An emergency landing at Karachi was requested by the aircraft crew due to an unexpected and serious medical issue that the passenger, an Indian national, was experiencing, according to sources.
