Another important PML-N leader leaves the party after Zubair Umar

According to information, former federal minister and senator Abbas Khan Afridi declared on Sunday that he was leaving the PML-N and the political arena.

“I am leaving the PML-N and leaving politics,” he declared, additionally stating that he will never again join a political party because his political career came to an end under Nawaz Sharif.

Abbas Khan Afirdi, a PML-N candidate running in Kohat for the election of 2024, claimed that only hypocrites could pursue a career in politics in Pakistan and that the country is run on a foundation of falsehoods.

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Abbas Khan Afridi, who received 57,184 votes, lost to independent Shehryar Afridi, who received support from the PTI, by 71,307 votes, and went on to win the seat of NA-35, according to the ECP findings.

He had previously held the position of federal minister for textiles during Nawaz Sharif’s third term.

In 2013, Abbas Afridi ranked second in the nation for tax payments.
