Balochistan experiences dust storms and rain in parts of Sindh.

On Wednesday, a new westerly weather system pounded various cities and villages across the nation with rain and dust storms.

Rainfall was recently brought to Sukkur, Larkana, Khairpur, Jacobabad, Dadu, Naushehro Feroz, Shikarpur, and Sanghar districts of Sindh by a fresh westerly wave that penetrated Balochistan.

The weather system brought rainfall to Chaman, Dera Bugti, Mastung, and Jhal Magsi districts of Balochistan and dust storms to Chagai, Dalbandin, and Kharan.

There have also been reports of sporadic rainfall in Khushab, Chiniot, Shorkot, Punjab, and Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Met Office has previously predicted snow and rain in the hills in several Balochistani regions.

During the rainy season, there were periods of rain in the Quetta valley and the surrounding areas.

The Met Office had originally predicted wind and thunderstorm on March 9 and 10, along with isolated heavy rainfall in Turbat, Kech, Gwadar, Jiwani, Pasni, Ormara, Panjgur, Kharan, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbella, and Awaran. Up to March 13th, with sporadic breaks, rainfall and snowfall are anticipated in the Balochistani districts of Chagai, Noushki, Washuk, Mastung, Sibbi, Naseerabad, Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, Kohlu, Jhal Magsi, Loralai, Ziarat, Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah.

Along with these areas, the meteorological office predicted rain and snowfall in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, and the federal capital region of Islamabad.
