A big rainstorm is expected to hit Balochistan from July 3 to 7, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
As a result of a weather system coming from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, heavy rain is expected in many areas.
Authorities are warning people in Lasbela, Khuzdar, Awaran, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Naseerabad, Sohbatpur, Jafarabad, and Dera Bugti to stay alert because it’s going to rain.
Heavy rains are expected in Musakhel, Kohlu, Zhob, and Ziarat, which raises the risk of floods and landslides.
Security Measures
Citizens, especially farmers, have been told by the PDMA to be careful during this time. Another piece of advice for tourists and travelers is to stay home if they don’t have to travel, just in case the expected weather causes problems.
The upcoming heavy rains in Balochistan show how important it is to be ready and take action to protect people and limit harm.
Later, the Met Department released a weather prediction that shows different weather conditions across the country. Certain areas will get rain, while others will have very hot and muggy conditions.
It will probably be cloudy in Islamabad, and it might rain in some places. The city’s highest temperature is likely to hit 36 degrees Celsius.
Some areas of Punjab, Potohar, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may also get rain, which will help cool things down a bit.
Others, on the other hand, will stay hot and muggy. One of the hottest places in the country, Sibbi, could get as hot as 47 degrees Celsius, according to a Met Department spokesman.
