The minister visited all areas of the NADRA headquarters and gave the go-ahead for the organisation to create NADRA offices nationwide in accordance with the model police stations that have been built in Punjab.He said that opening a model NADRA office will enhance public convenience and service delivery.
NADRA At NADRA Headquarters, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was greeted by Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar.
The minister gave an order during the meeting to waive the death certificate fee for the public’s convenience. The minister gave the order to guarantee total protection for the data of the people. He stated that NADRA model offices have to be constructed in order to offer the general public quick service.
According to him, social media should be used wisely to publicise the institution’s objectives, and more services should be made available on mobile platforms for the convenience of the public.
The outstanding work of the current NADRA Chairman, Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar, was commended by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. He claimed that the NADRA chairman has turned the group into a welcoming establishment for the general public.
As part of the plantation initiative, the minister planted seedlings on the lawn of the NADRA headquarters.
During a briefing, Chairman Nadra gave a presentation of NADRA’s Roadmap 2024–25, which contained the NADRA Strategic Plan, staff cyber security awareness, and a modern, phased security architecture.
According to the chairman’s briefing to the minister, NADRA’s technology, infrastructure, and online registration centre platforms would all be upgraded to enable Pakistanis residing overseas, as well as local individuals, to more easily access these services.
According to him, NADRA intends to offer mobile registration services in addition to installing self-service kiosks at registration locations.
He also gave a briefing on the plans to work longer shifts at some facilities and to offer service on weekly vacations.
