Prior to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, a delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by the Kingdom’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, makes a three-day visit to Islamabad.
At Noor Khan Airbase, Federal Ministers Aleem Khan, Musadik Malik, and Jam Kamal greeted the Saudi delegation.
The mission also includes officials from several Saudi businesses in the fields of engineering, construction, finance, information technology, hospitality, and agriculture.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Tuesday that he had signed agreements and memorandums of understanding with the Saudi delegation worth two billion dollars while presiding over the Federal Cabinet Meeting.
The Saudi Investment Minister will speak at a Business Forum at a nearby hotel while he is in Islamabad and have meetings with the top executives of Pakistan’s private sector.
