British tourist disappears in Siran valley
A British tourist has gone missing in Siran Valley, a tourist hotspot in Hazara Division while returning from a trekking expedition.
The missing tourist has been named as Alexander. Authorities have initiated a search effort to locate him and know about his whereabouts.
Hazara DIG Nasir Mahmood Satti stated police personnel are conducting search in the area for the missing British national.
“There’s a chance that the tourist might have gotten lost on the way back from the trek,” he said.
The traveller might have had difficulty finding his way back in the valley, with the hilly landscape and new paths.
The police and other concerned agencies are continuing their attempts to trace him and secure his safe recovery.
Authorities have asked local residents and tourists to cooperate with search teams and to share any information that could help find the missing tourist.
