Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib will start celebrating Baba Guru Nanak’s 555th birthday on November 14. Baba Guru Nanak is the founder of Sikhism.
For the occasion, extensive security measures have been prepared.
Commissioner Lahore Division Zayed Bin Maqsood visited Gurdwara Janm Asthan on the directive of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He examined the facilities made there for Sikh pilgrims travelling from inside the nation and internationally.
Additionally, he spoke with the Gurdwara Janam Asthan’s local Sikh leaders and asked them about the problems they were facing. The Sikh leaders praised him after he promised to resolve the issues quickly.
