China-Pakistan Economic Relations: Trade Delegation Engages with FPCCI Officials in Karachi

In order to address shared concerns and improve bilateral trade, a Chinese trade team met with representatives of the Federation of Industries and Commerce in Karachi.

China is interested in investing in eleven areas of Pakistan, specifically in egg production, cattle, poultry, and meat, according to Xiang Yu Zhuo, president of cross-border trade development.

In order to improve Pakistan-China relations, Zhuo underlined the importance of promoting non-traditional commercial goods.

The vice president of the FPCCI, Abdul Mohmeen Khan, observed from the delegation that Chinese businesses will open up new business and employment prospects in Pakistan’s industrial zones, and that Pakistani businessmen are keen to tap into China’s sizable markets.

The meeting was attended by other members of the FPCCI as well as Shabbir Hussain Mansha, the chairman of the Pakistan-China business forum.

The group conversed one-on-one about trade issues with businessmen in Pakistan as well.
