As a “world-class airport” that exemplifies the depth of Pakistan-China friendship, he emphasized the significance of Gwadar airport for improving regional connectivity.
Thanking the labor forces of both countries, he stated, “the airport’s completion will facilitate increased international trade and accelerate development in Pakistan’s western regions, particularly Gwadar.”
Memorandums of understanding (MoUs) between China and Pakistan were formalized during a signing ceremony that took place after the inauguration. Improvements in water resources, information and communication technology (ICT) cooperation, and smart classrooms are among the topics covered by these accords.
