Speaking to the media during a cabinet meeting, he underlined that his government’s first goal continued to be maintaining the province’s security and stability.
He said that during the month of Ramadan, some 850,000 worthy people will get a cash payout of Rs. 10,000 based on information gathered from the Ehsas Program. He claimed that an extra 150,000 persons from all provincial constituencies will receive an additional sum of Rs. 10,000.
In an effort to help the underprivileged, he brought up the operational “Langar Khanay” and said that the province government will host “Sehri” and “Iftari” dinners at hospitals to make it easier for patients’ companions.
Ali Amin Gandapur went on to say that young people will receive financial support in the form of grants and interest-free loans to start their own enterprises, in addition to skill development for the creation of jobs.
He insisted that the federal government release the outstanding Net Hydel Profit and declared that there would be no concessions made to the province’s growth.
Following the recent rains, he applauded Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s announcement of compensation for affected families as well as his visit to areas hit by the rain. The provincial administration has already distributed funding to the communities hit by the rain, he continued.
Citing the decision as an additional strain on the province’s already meager financial resources, the chief minister announced the cabinet’s decision to remove the benefits, privileges, and protection afforded to past chief ministers.
Along with announcing his commitment to openness in government operations, he also issued a strong warning against corrupt individuals.
