CM Maryam examines law and order, development initiatives, and DG Khan

Dera Ghazi Khan provincial assembly members met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to talk about the political climate, law and order, public issues, and ongoing development initiatives in their areas.

Ahmed Khan Leghari, Ali Ahmed Leghari, Usama Abdul Karim, Hanif Pitafi, Usama Leghari, and Salahuddin Khan were present during the meeting.

The chief minister gave the parliamentarians instructions to keep a careful eye on the development projects being carried out in their individual areas.

The MPAs expressed gratitude for the introduction of the electrobus service in Dera Ghazi Khan and congratulated Maryam Nawaz on her successful trip to China. They stated locals were appreciative of the service’s arrival and called it a “game changer” for the city.

The parliamentarians added that the chief minister’s policies had improved Dera Ghazi Khan’s law and order situation. They called the increased security in the riverine, or Kacha, areas a sign of stronger Punjabi government.

Maryam Nawaz stated at the meeting that the purpose of her trip to China was to establish Punjab as a center for artificial intelligence. She added that Punjab would soon see the introduction of cutting-edge cancer and other disease diagnosis techniques based on Chinese models.

The chief minister expressed her satisfaction with the utilisation of electric buses in Dera Ghazi Khan. For the first time, she continued, significant development initiatives based on the Lahore model were being started in other regions.

Road, drainage, water supply, and beautification projects were under progress in Dera Ghazi Khan and other province cities, according to Maryam Nawaz.
