In a statement, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) made it clear that recent internet speculations about the sale of Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport were entirely false.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority continued to be in charge of the airport (PCAA).
In the statement, it is stated, “We urge the public to rely on official sources for accurate information and to avoid spreading unverified claims.”
A two-person delegation had earlier arrived in Karachi to inspect the security protocols for direct flights from Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates. Abdullah Al Kaabi, Senior Director of Security Affairs at the UAE’s General Aviation Authority, is in charge of the group.
Over the course of the next four days, the crew will assess how Karachi Airport is implementing various aviation security procedures. The Emirati team will concentrate on aviation security protocols. The Emirati delegation was greeted by the Director of Aviation Security at CAA.
The first meeting at Karachi Airport was attended by the airport management and other pertinent parties.
