Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar made the announcement that Pakistan is getting ready to announce that it will be hosting an extraordinary summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Islamabad. This will signal Pakistan’s return to the international stage after a gap of 27 years.

Dar extended a warm greeting to all of the nations that are members of the SCO as he was supervising the preparations for the summit. He also underlined the significance of tackling both regional and worldwide concerns during the forum.

The statement that peace and stability are necessary for sustainable development was emphasized by Dar, who emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation.

By pointing out that Afghanistan’s membership in the SCO has been suspended since 2021, he brought attention to the fact that Pakistan is no longer in a position of isolation on the diplomatic front.

At each and every international conference, the deputy prime minister restated Pakistan’s intention to bring up the concerns of Kashmir and Palestine, putting an emphasis on Pakistan’s ongoing assistance for Palestine through humanitarian aid.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party was strongly asked by Dar to call off the protest that was scheduled to take place on October 15 in order to preserve the peace and tranquility of the nation.

There were also high-ranking officials there, including the Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar, as well as the MD of PTV.
