Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts for enduring peace, mutual respect and regional stability.
Dar said on X that he congratulated all partners in the peace process and that the current diplomatic engagement was a key step for regional stability.
He said U.S. President Donald Trump had telephone talks with leaders of numerous Muslim countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Qatar, Egypt, the UAE and Jordan. “This is an important step for stability in the region,” he said.
Dar also thanked U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the larger American team, applauding their dedication to communication and diplomacy.
He also expressed his gratitude to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and other Iranian leadership figures, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, for their positive involvement.
