At the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Lt Gen Ahmed Dawood Salman, the Secretary of Defence of Iraq, visited General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
Discussions at the conference focused on bilateral interests such as the developing security environment and the strengthening of security and defense cooperation between the two countries.
The visiting dignitary welcomed the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recognized the sacrifices made by both the people and the Armed Forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
