Election 2024: Tonight’s election-related activities come to an end

ISLAMABAD: At midnight on February 6 and 7, there will be a 48-hour embargo on political activity. As a result, electioneering will end today.

According to the election calendar, the campaign window will end on Tuesday or Wednesday at midnight in accordance with election regulations.

After the election campaign concludes, candidates or political parties who break the law may face legal repercussions.

With the electioneering embargo period drawing near, political groups and contenders have stepped up their campaigning.

The Pakistan People’s Party will hold a power show in Larkana, Bhuttos’ hometown, to wrap up its electoral campaign. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will speak at the party’s public assembly at Larkana’s Municipal Stadium.

At the PPP public gathering, Aseefa Bhutto and other party core leaders would also give speeches.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will have a last election power display in Khudian in Kasur to round off its electoral campaign.

The party’s public gathering at Railway Ground on 2:00 PM will be attended by Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz, Shehbaz Sharif, and PML-N supreme leader Mian Nawaz Sharif.

At the location of the public gathering, posters featuring party leaders Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and Hamza Shehbaz are on display.

Shehbaz Sharif, the former prime minister, is the PML-N candidate running in Kasur’s NA-132 Khudian seat.
